Dr. Daniel A. Medalie attended Harvard University and then spent a year studying at the Parsons School of Design and Art Students League in New York City. He subsequently earned his medical degree in 1990 from Cornell University School of Medicine. His general surgery and plastic surgery residency and fellowship were completed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also completed a burn fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Burns Institute in Boston, MA.
A full-time faculty member and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University Medical School, Dr. Medalie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Medalie's special interests include aesthetic breast and body contouring, reconstructive breast surgery, reconstructive microsurgery of the head, neck and extremities, and facial aesthetic surgery.

Andrea
E. Gallup, C.N.P. joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at MetroHealth
in September of 2004. Andrea received her B.S.N. degree from the
University of Pittsburgh in 1996. She earned her master's degree from
and completed the Family Health Nurse Practitioner program at Gannon
University (Erie, PA) in 2001.
Andrea
participates in all patient care activities including
in-patient/out-patient care, patient education, and perioperative
services. She coordinates the Division's skin care services including
laser hair removal and topical facial skin treatment.
