A New You
The term 'plastic' or 'cosmetic surgery' actually covers a variety of surgical and chemical procedures which alter the body's outward appearance.  Procedures are used to shape certain body parts such as the breast or nose, soften skin tone to reduce or eliminate wrinkles, and to correct problems resulting from accident or disease.  Plastic surgery procedures are generally safe and relatively painless when performed by an experienced surgeon, although each procedure is different.  With all surgical procedures, there are certain degrees of risk and uncertainty.  During an initial consultation one of our physicians will discuss your procedure with you in detail, describing the realistic potential outcome and any possible risks involved.

MetroHealth Medical Center

Board Certified Plastic Surgeons
We are a group of academic plastic surgeons providing a full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.  We are committed to providing the highest quality surgical care and patient service.  Cosmetic procedures are performed at the MetroHealth Outpatient Surgery Center conveniently located just south of I-71 on West 150th Street.  The staff and physicians are highly-trained in outpatient care and are dedicated to making your surgery a pleasant and comfortable experience.  All patients have the support of the main campus of the MetroHealth Medical Center where the medical, surgical, and subspecialty staff are always available for your care if needed.

Most procedures are performed using only a local anesthesia, others are performed with intravenous sedation.  Certain procedures will require general anesthesia.  The decision concerning the type of anesthesia to be used will be discussed with you during your initial consultation.

Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery

The objective of cosmetic surgery, also known as aesthetic surgery, is to reshape facial and bodily features and to improve your natural beauty.  These procedures are chosen by women and men who wish to change or refine their appearance or reduce the effects of aging.  Such improvements tend to make people feel better about themselves because they feel better about how they look.

The objective of reconstructive surgery is to restore or improve function to abnormal structures of the body.  These are most often caused by birth defects, injury or disease.

We perform many forms of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.  Some of the procedures we perform are listed below.
